High Quality Trips, Visits and Visitors

We go on a range of trips and visits to support our curriculum and bring it alive. Oxford and the surrounding area have a host of exciting opportunities to really bring learning to life. Examples include:

Year 1 trip to Science Oxford

Year 2 trip to Oxford Castle

Year 3 Walking tour Oxford City and the Story Museum

Year 4 trip to the Ashmolean Museum

Year 5&6 Bikeablity from School, IMPS and junior citizens

Visiting Play for the audience experience! - Alice in Wonderland

Visiting Speakers including the founder of the Oxford Foodbank, 3 former students including a rugby international and a trainee priest, a BMX world champion!

Sporting trips in KS2 for Cross Country, Netball and Football

Competitions include Chess and Maths

The Best Museums in Oxford You Have to Visit

Autumn Term

Year 6 visit to Stone Farm in Devon for 4 nights. This is a working farm with a range of animals for the children to help look after and pet. During the day are a range of exciting activities and in the morning and evening the children take part in activities including looking after the animals.

Year 4 visit Youlbury Scout Camp for 1 night - here children are challenged with a range of activities including high ropes, climbing, zip wire and other exciting activities.

Residential Trips 23-24

We believe that offering residential school trips is important for personal development. We are excited to offer a range of residential trips to our pupils in KS2 (Year 3-6).

The information here records the residential trips being offered in 23-24. Information about these visits is sent out well in advance.

Class teachers organise information evenings for residential trips which families are encouraged to attend.

Spring Term

Year 5 Trip to Woodlands in Wye Valley for 3 nights for an activity based residential trip.

Summer Term

Year 3 Camp on the school field for 1 night, with visiting company who provide both the camping equipment as well as exciting activities for children to take part in on the school site.
